In just the last few weeks Kelly Brook has had news about the demise of her relationship with Thom Evans splashed all over the press and has been branded a “heffer” by Katie Price.
Throughout it all though the presenter has had her fans by her side wishing her well and earlier today she took to Twitter to thank them for helping her through a difficult time. She wrote:
“Would just like to say Thank you for your amazing support!!! It’s been a difficult time. I’m completely overwhelmed by your kind messages x”
Her message comes just hours after her followers took to Twitter to slate reports from a magazine that she’s been piling on the pounds after her split from Thom.
A supposed “insider” told Heat magazine yesterday that the model has apparently put on 10lbs since the break up, saying:
“It’s been a sad time for Kelly so it’s totally understandable that she’s relaxed her normally super-strict regime.
“Thom was a fitness fanatic and he and Kelly made workouts and healthy eating a huge part of their relationship. He motivated her to work out hard and gave her loads of great tips.
“But who wants to go to the gym for two hours when they’ve split from their boyfriend?”
One Twitter user reacted by saying:
“I’m sorry, but it is absolutely NO-ONES business if @IAMKELLYBROOK has put weight or not. She’s only human, give her a break. Geez.”
Another reacted by saying:
“This is outrageous, there is nothing wrong with being a size 10-12. no wonder people starve themselves”
Despite the hurtful report, Kelly managed to keep a smile on her face as she headed out by herself in central London last night.
