Yesterday in court, Sherri Shepherd was named as the legal mother of a baby born via a surrogate 8 months ago
. Hr ex, Lamar Sally went to court to have Shepherd named as the mother and will now seek child support from her to help support the 8 month old boy. Sally and Shepherd split while the surrogate was pregnant and Shepherd said she did not want to be listed as the mother and had not agreed to the surrogacy. That seemed far fetched, but there was video evidence introduced at the trial which showed Shepherd excited for the new baby even though it had no genetic connection. Shepherd was not in court and her attorneys didn’t provide any statement to the media.
