ATASCADERO -- The Atascadero City Council voted unanimously Tuesday to continue negotiations with Atascadero Waste Management to keep the San Luis Avenue Buy Back Center open beyond 2015.

ATASCADERO -- Former Atascadero Mayoral candidate Charles John Scovell II, 36, was arrested for the second time since running for mayor in the election last November after being involved in a domestic incident on Friday, July 31.

UPDATE: At 11 p.m. Sunday, Atascadero Police Department reported that three missing people were found. The report stated, that the people in question were out of cell phone range while hiking and had no idea anyone was looking for them. All returned home safely.

A Templeton man died Saturday after a collision involving several vehicles occurred on Highway 41 just east of Morro Bay.
