I've just noticed it's been almost a week since my last post again so thought I'd do a quick post on my outfit/makeup over the weekend. I'm going to start doing a lot more of these posts as everytime I go on a night out I try to do something completely different with my makeup (and it is a makeup blog after all)! So, this weekend was one of my best friends birthday and a few of us turned up in Manchester where she lives to surprise her with a birthday meal and night out. She literally had no idea we were coming and we all hid in a lil cupboard and jumped out on her with party poppers gallore and made her shed a lil tear.. and the best thing is it was all her boyfriend's idea who couldn't be there! How sweet!!! We went to her fave restaurant for food and cake (again, another surprise) and then to a few bars before heading back to the appartment for more partying and drinking games... which by the way was an epic fail on my part as anyone who knows me will tell you how much I SUCK when it comes to drinking games!!!
The birthday girl and her cake!
My outfit for the night was quite casual compared to what I would normally wear but I have been dying to wear the hotpants I wore for so long but just haven't been able to find a top to wear with them that doesn't make me look like I should be on a beach somewhere. So I decided to dress it up with my black blazer and go all out with the makeup and went for a full on black smokey eye and barbie pink lips. Now, as much as I love a good old black smokey eye it's not a look I tend to do on myself and at first I kind of felt like a Taylor Momsen wannabe, although I actually got told that I looked like Georgia May Jagger.. which personally I don't see (apart from the gap) but I can see where they were coming from makeup wise as she has very similiar makeup in the Rimmel advert. I didn't take any close-up shots of just myself so here's one of me and the birthday girl.. Face

When I first set this blog up I never planned on doing OOTD posts as I thought they were more for fashion blogs, and also I don't see myself as being very fashionable.. like I said in the Kelly Brook post I literally just wear the same things but in different colours.. but they tend to be my favourite post to read on other blogs so I'm also going to try do some proper OOTD posts in the future.I hope everyone else has had a funfilled weekend!!
